Helen Valley & Osman Osman secure acquittals in alleged homophobic harrassment case
In a trial that has had much interest both here and the US, two students were accused of harassment having sang a Mark Silverman (the well known American musician and satirist) song "That's what you do when you're gay" whilst sitting in their garden. After a 3-day trial the male and female students were acquitted by Magistrates who heard evidence directly from Mr Silverman. Helen and Osman were instructed by Phil Smith and Henrietta Ronson from Tuckers.
